What CarbonReport Pro Does

Everything a Textile Exporter Needs to Answer a Buyer's Carbon Request, In One Platform

Turn your energy bills, fuel logs and production data into an ISO 14064-1 / GHG Protocol-aligned report your EU/UK buyer's compliance team can actually accept, without a consultant.

Full GHG Inventory — Scope 1, 2 & 3

Direct fuel combustion, purchased electricity and value-chain emissions, calculated with published reference factors (IPCC AR6, DEFRA 2024, NEPRA) and structured to ISO 14064-1 and the GHG Protocol.

Smart Bill & Evidence Upload

Upload utility bills and invoices. Our OCR reads the values and cross-checks them against your entries, raising your evidence-matched data-confidence level for buyers.

Operational Carbon Intensity (OCI)

Your (Scope 1 + Scope 2) ÷ production output, benchmarked against textile industry tiers, the single number EU buyers use to compare suppliers at a glance.

Buyer Disclosure Pack

A clean 1–2 page summary your EU/UK buyers can drop straight into their CSRD Scope 3 supplier inventory, the data request that lands on your desk today.

Carbon-Cost Sensitivity & 90-Day Roadmap

A forward-looking, hypothetical CBAM-style cost sensitivity (textiles are not in CBAM Phase 1) plus a prioritised reduction roadmap with payback and abatement estimates.

Verification Levels & Buyer Portal

Transparent L1–L4 data-confidence levels (a platform evidence-review status, not third-party assurance) and a shareable verification link buyers can check live.

The Financial Stakes Are Real — For Every Textile Exporter

Three Ways Missing Carbon Documentation
Is Costing Textile Factories Real Money Right Now

South Asia ships over €27B in apparel annually to EU markets (Eurostat, 2024), but without audit-ready carbon data, your factory is invisible to EU compliance teams. Buyers are restructuring supplier lists right now, and contracts are being reallocated to compliant competitors.

Buyer Carbon Data Requests Are Increasing

EU brands still in scope of CSRD want verified supplier carbon data for their own Scope 3 reporting and buyer scorecards. A clean, buyer-ready inventory strengthens your commercial position in vendor reviews and can satisfy the voluntary VSME-style dataset buyers may request — factories without it are at a disadvantage when contracts come up for renewal.

Buyer Carbon-Cost Pressure in Price Negotiations

EU/UK buyers increasingly request supplier emissions data for their CSRD Scope 3 inventories and apply internal shadow carbon prices when comparing suppliers. Without a credible carbon report, buyers estimate conservatively, which can weaken your position on price and contract terms. (Textiles are not in CBAM Phase 1, so this is buyer-driven commercial pressure today, not a current CBAM levy.)

€65–150
Hypothetical carbon-cost sensitivity per tonne of product if textiles ever enter a CBAM-style mechanism — forward-looking, not a current charge

The Consultant Route Takes 3–6 Months

Traditional sustainability consultants charge €15,000–€50,000 per engagement and take months to deliver. By the time their report arrives, your buyer has already signed with a compliant competitor, or your tender deadline has passed.

Factories I grew up around are all getting the same email from their EU buyers: “send us your Scope 3 carbon data by [deadline] or we re-shortlist.” The traditional answer, a €15k–€50k consultant engagement over 3–6 months — was never built for a mill that has to answer this week.

So I built the tool I wished those factories had: energy bills and production data in, an ISO 14064-1-aligned, GHG Protocol-structured report out, with the honesty box printed on the cover. We are not third-party assurance, and we say so; when a tender demands ISO 14064-3, we hand your auditor a clean data room instead of a black box.

We're looking for our first 5 design-partner factories in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey and Vietnam — hands-on onboarding, free partner reports while we learn from your buyers, and direct input on the roadmap. If that's you, tell us about your factory.

What EU Buyers Are Asking Suppliers For

The Real Pressure Is CSRD Scope 3 — Not CBAM

CBAM Phase 1 (2023–2025) covers cement, steel, aluminium, fertilisers, electricity and hydrogen. It does not currently cover textiles. What is forcing carbon questionnaires onto your desk today is CSRD, the EU rule that requires large EU brands to report on their supply chain emissions. Their reporting obligation becomes your data request.

Step 1 — They ask

Built for Textile Exporters Worldwide

South Asian Factories Export €27B+ in Apparel to the EU Annually.
Buyers Are Asking for Carbon Data Now.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka together supply around an eighth of the world's apparel exports, and Bangladesh alone is the second-largest apparel exporter on earth. EU brands still in scope of CSRD want verified supplier carbon data for their own Scope 3 reporting and buyer scorecards — factories from Faisalabad spinning mills to Dhaka garment exporters that can provide it strengthen their commercial position with EU buyers.

Built around your bills — enter the figures exactly as they appear on your utility and fuel invoices; the form does the unit conversions.
Region-specific emission factors — NEPRA, BGPDB, NLDC grid data and local fuel grades pre-loaded for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey & more.
Multi-factory groups — running several facilities? Talk to us about group reporting before you buy; we onboard clusters by hand today.
Supplier magic links — send Tier 1 suppliers a one-click link to submit their emission data, no account needed.

Quick Answers

Common Questions

Is this report accepted by EU buyers and customs authorities? +
Our reports follow GHG Protocol methodology and ISO 14064-1 structure, the same standards EU buyers cite when designing their CSRD Scope 3 questionnaires and the Higg FEM industry assessment used across the apparel sector. Our reports are not third-party ISO 14064-3 assured by default; for tenders that require statutory assurance, our Third-Party Assurance Fast-Track routes the data room to an accredited verification body. Acceptance by any specific EU buyer is always at the buyer's discretion. We don't claim partnerships we don't have.
Does CBAM currently apply to textile factories? +
CBAM Phase 1 covers cement, steel, aluminium, fertilisers, and electricity. However, EU brands under CSRD are already requiring verified Scope 3 supplier emissions data from textile manufacturers as of 2025. Expansion to all goods is under active EU review and expected before 2030.
How is this different from a sustainability consultant? +
Consultants charge €15,000–€50,000 and take 3–6 months. Our platform applies the same standardised emission factors and GHG Protocol methodology in under 2 minutes — at 99% lower cost. For ISO 14064-3 independent third-party assurance (required for statutory CSRD/CBAM attestation and some tenders), use our Third-Party Assurance Fast-Track add-on, which routes your data room to an accredited verification body — CarbonReport Pro itself does not issue ISO 14064-3 certificates.
Can I try the platform before paying? +
Yes. Every registered account receives one free demo report. It is a complete, real-format ISO 14064-aligned carbon report covering Scope 1, 2 and 3, the only difference is a "Demo" watermark. Create your account at login, choose the Free Demo tab. No credit card required.
What data do I need to generate a report? +
Primarily: electricity bills (kWh), fuel consumption records, production output (kg or units), and basic factory information. Our OCR upload feature can auto-extract figures from utility documents. Scope 3 supplier data is optional but strengthens your CSRD Scope 3 compliance position.
Do you support multi-factory manufacturing groups? +
Yes. Each facility gets its own report (€999 per facility, per reporting period), so figures are never blended across sites. For groups with several mills that want consolidated dashboards or continuous monitoring, we run a private program — contact sales from the pricing page and we'll scope it for your group.
